Card Referrals, earn $5

Invite a friend to Kite. When they spend $100 or more on their Kite card within 30 days, you get $5, with no limit on how many friends you refer.

Referral Programme terms

This referral program is only live in countries where the Kite card is available: Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

Overview

The Kite Referral Programme (the “Programme”) enables eligible Kite users (“Referrer”) to invite new users (“Referee”) to join Kite and, subject to these Terms, earn a reward credited to the Referrer’s Kite card balance.

Eligibility

To participate in the Programme:

• The Referrer must be an existing Kite user with an active, fully verified account in good standing.
• The Referee must be a new user who has not previously held, or been a joint holder of, a Kite account.
• Both Referrer and Referee must meet the eligibility requirements set out in Section 1 and must not be residents, citizens of, or located in, any Restricted Jurisdiction.
• Kite may determine eligibility in its sole discretion.

How It Works

• The Referrer shares their unique referral link or code, available within the Kite app, with the Referee.
• The Referee must apply the referral link or code at the time of sign-up. Referrals cannot be applied or attributed retroactively.

Qualifying Criteria

A referral will qualify for a reward only if the Referee completes all of the following steps within 30 days of sign-up:

• Successfully completes sign-up for a Kite account;
• Completes Know Your Customer (KYC) verification in accordance with Section 3;
• Applies for and is approved for a Kite card; and
• Tops up a minimum of USD 100 to the Kite card balance.

If any of the above is not completed within the 30-day window, the referral will not qualify and no reward will be issued.

Reward

• Upon the Referee meeting all Qualifying Criteria, the Referrer will receive a reward of USD 5, credited to the Referrer’s Kite card balance. The Referee does not receive a reward under the current Programme.
• Payouts are made monthly, in USD, directly to the Referrer’s Kite card.
• Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value outside the Kite card balance. Rewards cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for fiat separately, or combined with any other promotional offer unless expressly stated by Kite.

Restrictions and Abuse

• Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and referrals between accounts controlled by the same individual are strictly prohibited.
• Kite may, in its sole discretion, withhold, reverse, or cancel any reward and suspend Programme participation where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, manipulation, or any violation of these Terms, including the activities listed in Section 10 (Prohibited Activities).
• Kite may set a cap on the number of qualifying referrals per Referrer from time to time. Any such cap will be communicated within the Kite app.

Changes to the Programme

Kite may modify, suspend, or terminate the Programme at any time, with or without prior notice. Changes take effect upon publication in the Kite app or on Kite’s official channels. Rewards already credited prior to any such change will not be affected, except where “Restrictions and Abuse” above applies.
