How to receive crypto in Kite

You can receive tokens by sharing your Kite wallet address or QR code with the sender.

How to receive crypto

  1. Tap Receive in the Kite app.
  2. Copy your wallet address or share your QR code with the sender.
  3. Ask the sender to send the funds using one of Kite's supported networks.
  4. Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain.

You'll receive a notification when the funds arrive, and your balance will update automatically.

Supported networks

Kite supports deposits on:

  • Base
  • Ethereum
  • Arbitrum One
  • Polygon
  • Optimism
  • BNB Smart Chain

Your Kite wallet address is the same across all supported EVM networks, so you don't need to generate a different address for each network. The sender just needs to send the funds on one of the supported networks.

Typical confirmation times

  • Base: under 1 minute
  • Arbitrum: under 1 minute
  • Optimism: under 1 minute
  • Polygon: 2-5 minutes
  • BNB Smart Chain: 2-5 minutes
  • Ethereum: 5-15 minutes

Before the sender transfers funds

Ask the sender to:

  • Send a supported token.
  • Use one of Kite's supported networks.
  • Double-check your wallet address before sending.
  • Send a small test transaction first if it's their first time sending to your wallet.

If your funds don't appear

If the transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain but you still don't see your funds in Kite, ask the sender for the transaction hash and contact care@kiteapp.xyz. Include:

  • Transaction hash
  • Transaction ID
  • Token
  • Network used

Our support team will help investigate the transaction.
