Send onchain failed

A failed send means your transaction wasn't completed.

Don't worry, your funds remain in your wallet, and no Kite fee is charged for failed transactions.

Common reasons

A send may fail because:

  • You don't have enough balance.
  • The recipient's wallet address is invalid or incomplete.
  • There was a temporary network issue.

What to try

Check your balance

Make sure you have enough of the selected token to cover the amount you're trying to send.

Verify the recipient

Double-check that:

  • The wallet address is complete and correctly formatted.
  • There are no extra spaces or missing characters.
  • The recipient supports the network you've selected.

Try a different network

If the recipient can receive on multiple supported networks, you can try sending on a different one. Only switch networks if the recipient confirms they can receive funds on that network.

Try again later

Temporary network issues usually resolve within a few minutes. Wait a short while, then try sending again.

Still having trouble?

If the same transaction continues to fail, ask the recipient to confirm both their wallet address and the network. If the issue persists, contact care@kiteapp.xyz with:

  • The transaction hash (if available)
  • The recipient address
  • The network you selected
  • The approximate time you attempted the send

Our support team will help investigate the issue.
