Sent wrong token to your Kite address
If you sent a token that Kite doesn't currently support to your Kite wallet address, the token may still exist at your wallet address on the blockchain. However, because Kite doesn't support or display that token, it won't appear in your wallet balance.
Can I recover it?
Recovery may be possible, depending on the token, the network it was sent on, and what's technically feasible.
Contact our support team with the transaction details, and we'll review your case to determine whether recovery is possible.
What to include in your support request
Email care@kiteapp.xyz with:
- Transaction hash (TxID)
- Token name
- Token contract address
- Network used
- Amount sent
- A screenshot of the transaction from the relevant block explorer
How to avoid this in the future
Before sending crypto to Kite:
- Confirm that the token you're sending is supported by Kite.
- Make sure you're using one of Kite's supported networks: Base, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, Arbitrum One, or Optimism.
- If you're depositing from a new wallet or exchange for the first time, send a small test transaction before transferring a larger amount.
Blockchain transactions can't be reversed, so double-checking the token and network before sending is the best way to avoid issues.
