I gave the right address but funds not showing on Kite app

If someone (or you) sent crypto to your Kite wallet but you don't see it yet, here's how to figure out what happened.

Step 1: Check with the sender

Ask the sender for these details:

  • Which network was used? Kite supports deposits only on Base, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, Arbitrum One, and Optimism. Deposits sent on any other network won't appear in your wallet.
  • Which token was sent? Kite displays only supported tokens. If an unsupported token was sent, it may reach your wallet address but won't appear in your balance.
  • What's the transaction hash (TxID)? You'll need this to verify the transfer on the blockchain.

Step 2: Check the transaction

Paste the transaction hash into the block explorer for the network that was used:

Make sure the transaction status is Success, and the receiving address exactly matches your Kite wallet address. Compare the entire address, not just the first and last few characters.

What the results mean

The transaction is successful and the address matches

Your deposit is valid. Pull down on the Wallet screen to refresh your balance. If it still hasn't appeared after 30 minutes, contact us at care@kiteapp.xyz and include the transaction hash.

The receiving address is different

The sender used the wrong wallet address. Unfortunately, blockchain transactions can't be reversed, so Kite can't recover these funds.

The transaction was sent on an unsupported network

Kite doesn't support deposits on that network. See "Sent or received tokens on wrong network" for more information. Deposits sent on unsupported networks can't be recovered.

An unsupported token was sent

The token isn't currently supported by Kite. See "Sent wrong token to your Kite address" to learn whether recovery is possible.

Don't have a transaction hash?

Without a transaction hash, it's not possible to verify whether the transfer was completed on-chain. Ask the sender for the transaction hash before assuming there's an issue with your Kite wallet.
